YEAR 1 HALF TERM MICRO CLASS - PRE REG

Service Description

Our Micro Class sessions have been designed to help children where parents feel they may have fallen behind amid the 2020 - 2021 lockdown or where children have struggled with home schooling. We have built a brand new outdoor summer house class room designed to occupy a maximum of 4 children per class. All classes will be grouped based on age group. Lessons will focus on Maths and English and 2 lessons per week are advised but not necessary. Prices are based on 1.15 min lessons per week. visit our monthly discount page if you want more than 1 lessons per week. As part of the Welsh foundation phase curriculum we expect children and young people to become accomplished in: • developing numerical reasoning • using number skills • using measuring skills • using data skills. • oracy across all areas of learning • reading across all areas of learning • writing across all areas of learning. Creativity - Your child is encouraged to be creative during their time at CPT and there will be occasions where your child will be given the opportunity to use arts and crafts materials to produce work to take home. Children will be provided with home work on a weekly basis. once a fortnight children will be provided with a book to read at home with parents/for parents read to them. This will encourage reading for fun and will enhance your child's ability to successfully accomplish all areas of learning. A full list of learning outcomes can be provided upon request. Children will have an informal assessment during their first session for us to identify areas of learning that require attention. This will not be in a form of test and we want to encourage children to be themselves. We do not advocate assessments as we feel this can place unnecessary pressures upon them. We want your child to feel at home and experience a fun learning environment
